30-Minute Guitar Practice Routine (Daily)
Consistency beats intensity. This routine is built to fit real life while still improving technique and songs.
0–5 min: Warm-up
Chromatic exercise + light stretching. Keep it relaxed—no tension.
5–15 min: Technique
Pick one: alternate picking, chord changes, or fingerpicking. Use a steady tempo.
15–27 min: Song work
Loop the hardest 4–8 bars. Start slow, then increase speed in small steps.
27–30 min: Timing
Metronome/backing track groove. Timing makes everything sound better.
The “5 perfect reps” rule
Don’t raise speed until you can play the section perfectly five times. This keeps practice clean and fast.
Make practice easier
Interactive playback + speed + loop = faster progress.
